Filming and Editing for iDevices
This is a one-day, hands-on course designed to introduce journalists and others to some of the principles of using iphones or ipads to shoot, edit and upload short films.
Participants will shoot and capture their own material on the day and edit it into a finished film, learning how to use voice-over, still images, graphics, text and other content to enhance the appearance of the project.

- sketching ‘storyboards’ for editing
What you should bring with you:
Your own iPad or iPhone. Learners should download the iMovie app to their device prior to attending the course.
No formal qualifications required.
Expected learning outcomes:
Knowledge of best filming and editing practice on iDevices and the ability to produce short film for upload to the web.
This 1 day course costs £95 for NUJ members and £130 for non-members and this includes all materials, tea/coffees & sandwich lunch.
